Wait- I Only Have To Pack ONE Pair of Shoes My Next Trip?! Fashion Forward Jet Setters- You'll Want To See This!

As a business professional we pick up skills along the way. Signing up for air miles, hotel points- that are 101 stuff.

The one thing I personally have yet to master is packing lightly.  My nemesis: footwear.  As a business woman I need at least three pairs of shoes no matter what. Humor me- a pair comfortable and easy to remove pair for travel, a pair for casual outings with my associates or even clients and then another pair for events/business meetings.  That’s assuming all three pairs match every outfit packed.

So, what’s a fashion forward PR pro to do? Enter- Cambiami Sandals! “Cambiamento” means- change in Italian and “cambinar” is to change in Spanish ( there’s a fun lesson to wake you up). If you haven’t guessed by now, the whole concept of these comfortable and fashionable shoes is their ability to change!

Simply purchase the “bottom” or soul of the shoe, and then select two “uppers” or tops to go with them!  If you’re meetings or events are business casual you could easily get away with wearing these with the right dress…which means- you can literally only pack ONE pair of shoes for your next trip! Worst case two pairs. Did you think we’d ever see the day? Well it is 2014.

Stay tuned for my personal review…because I ordered three….yes I’m serious #sorrynotsorry.
Ps. I used the coupon "StyleBistro15" from one of my favorite blogs: Style Bistro

Transformers 4 the age of advertisements….. Seriously? Did anyone else see this?

Seriously? Did anyone else notice this or is it just the PR/Marketing major in me?

No-this post is not on my personal review of the movie Transformers 4, however if you are looking for one- I would say it is worth spending the cash to head to the theater (especially in 3D), but warn you to brace yourself for the corny one-liners. Getting to the PR point though, did anyone else notice the not-to-subtitle advertisements/ product shamelessly placed throughout the movie? I literally started laughing in the middle of the theater after the fourth one...

The first placement for Budweiser works nicely. The bottle is positioned on Mark Wahlberg’s dinner tray his daughter brings over thoughtfully.  Interestingly enough, she had just commented on his poor eating habits - #contradiction.
The first real in your face product placement appears when the Steve Jobs lookalike holds up Beats “Pill” speakers- literally calling the product by its name. It worked, but did not go unnoticed- which I’m sure was the idea all along….

The next scene of the crime, is where Mark Wahlberg emerges from a crash, looking around to see scattered bud light platinum bottles…and  then proceeds to drink one.

Finally, I literally started laughing when an epic fight demolishes buildings, cars etc. and all that’s remaining is a wobbling black phone booth stand with huge white letters reading Victoria's Secret.

Since I didn't start the movie counting these, I’m sure there are well over the four that one could not ignore…

Let me know what you find and don't forget the popcorn!
